So, I’m waaaaaaay back in Season 9 Supernatural just watching without posting anything to try and catch up by the series finale (I’m totally not gonna make it, lol) but dammit, they are making me do a tie report.

I am still watching my way through, Though I’m in season 9 still, and I won’t be caught up in time to watch the series finale live, but… Just…

Supernatural has been and will be a huge part of my life. Real life kind of stomped me flat and I set it aside, for years, but I’m still a Supernatural fan.

When all of you watch the finale, and see the final “Carry On” montage, I’ll be with you in spirit…. Aaaaaand ducking 6 seasons worth of spoilers until I get caught up and can watch it myself. XD

Yo, Supernatural gang.

Well, I have obviously not caught up on Supernatural in time for the FINAL SEASON PREMIERE AIRING TONIGHT, so I'll be hoping to catch up (including s15 episodes) by the winter hiatus. *crosses fingers*

In the meantime though, and since this is the final season, I thought I would bring out a blast from the past (for me at least)

This is the icon I made back in early second season I think (though it may have had a different day then) and every SPN airing day, I would change my default icon to this annoying flashing orange mess, with the idea that all the places I left comments with my default icon would become little billboards for Supernatural. (Yeaaah, I don't think it ever really drew anyone new to the show either.)

ANYWAY. I am posting this now, in case anyone wants to use it during the final season. DW, LJ, Tumblr, Twitter, wherever. (Just don't sell it, LOL)

Enjoy the hell out of the episode tonight. I'll keep at this 'catching up' business and squee with y'all live (or a reasonable facsimile) hopefully after the winter hiatus.

Reactions: Supernatural 9.05 and 9.06

Been a while, eh? ( Here's why if you're interested. )

But since the last season (15?!) is airing soon and this show has been a huge part of my fannish life, I'm taking on the ridiculously impossible challenge of catching up on watching the series. From 9.07 through the end of season 14, hopefully doing so by the season 15 premiere, October 10th 2019. Or at least by the finale. Oi vey.

For various reasons including time and most video sources not allowing screencaps now (but mostly time) I won't be doing huge picspams or reactions for ~~them~~ all of them. Maybe a few notes here or there.

Well, tax season 2017 happened.

This instrumental piece is a part of the soundtrack for a game app. I love this music so much, and the title just really summarizes my 2017 tax season. "Endless Suffering." Yep. That's about the size of it.

But I have survived. Woohoo. Hoping to regain some non-work brain at some point this year. One can always hope, lol.

Fanfic written in 2017...

...none. Nothing. Nichts. Niente. Nada. Bugger all. Last story I posted was Dec 12, 2016.

So. I actually hadn't noticed that. It was a bit of a shocking realization.

I got a lovely comment on AO3 today that along with lovely things said that they were sad I wasn't writing anymore. I bristled a bit at that, and went to look and nope, nothing. But on reflection, it's not hard to see.

I had to skip watsonswoes July Writing Prompts, I couldn't do Mininano in November and now... Nothing. Between work, health issues, and the drain of keeping up with the mayhem happening in my personal world as well as the greater world, I've written nothing at all, for the first year since I started writing fanfic. I haven't even been writing much and just not posted it, maybe a thousand words. And that's not good.

So, for 2018 I aim to write and post more than 2017. Which is obviously not a huge challenge to beat a posting total of zero. Yeesh. *facepalm*
