I noticed this ages ago, but I happened to have a camera with me at work recently.
Top closed, innocent, normal coffee machine.

Why hello there, Darth Vader! (it's more obvious without the camera flare, but it's the best I could get without people wondering why I was taking pictures of the coffee machine.)
