Writer's Block: A show for all seasons

[Error: unknown template qotd]

I don't often do these writer's block things, but what the hell.

*Returning North American Shows which are appointment/VCR set:

-Sep 20th: Chuck! (OMFG! *twitch* O.O)
-Sep 22nd: Criminal Minds (Rewatched '100' recently. O.O)
-Sep 22nd: CSI:NY (Kind of surprising, that. Cheesy cliffhanger ending and all.)
-Sep 24th: Supernatural (Duh!)

All premiering the week of Sep. 20. Oy.

*Shows I'll try to catch when I can:

-The Mentalist (Patrick and Sherlock really need to meet.)
-Lie to Me (I hear there's a guest star...)

*Shows from last season I'm going to miss:

...hm. None that spring readily to mind. IMO, Heroes picked a good 'full circle' place to end, and the crack monkeys had been infiltrating the script pit a bit too much in latter seasons anyway. Not sure if 24 is coming back, and from that I mainly miss Aaron Pierce and characters who are dead. I didn't watch most of last season.

*New Shows:

I've been deliberately not seeking out new shows (and I'm really not looking for any recommendations unless something is mindblowingly awesome like Sherlock), because seriously there's only so many free-time hours in a week for me, and I have far too many things to write already. I'm almost wishing North American studios and broadcasters would go to a non-season schedule, and just air shows at staggered intervals, but that wouldn't work due to the demands of advertisers.

*Non-North American Shows:

-SHERLOCK!!! OMG! *shakes the BBC until bits fall out* November 9th for the DVD in Canada!
-Doctor Who. Even though I STILL have to watch series 5.
-Torchwood. Still counting it as non-North American. Long ways to go before it's back though.

I know I'm forgetting things. What am I forgetting? Gah.

you should check out Warehouse 13 and Eureka. Both are great!! Also you should have a look at Castle, Human Target, and Undercover.

Leverage Leverage Leverage! (du-du du-du duuu-du!)

I hear the same guest star who's going to be on Lie To Me is going to be on The Mentalist.... :D (if I should happen to be thinking of the same guest star you are)

Only two more weeks till SPN! Yay!

Another year for new Sherlock. Boo!

And you really should watch the latest season of Doctor Who. It's got some issues (don't they all!) but Eleven actually fantastic. I was a bit wary, but he totally won me over.

the one new season show (aside from The Walking Dead at Halloween) I'm going to give a shot is Lonestar.

It seems very Justifed-ish (which is another show I highly recommend) with a dash of daddy issues, a bucket full of beautiful women (Adrianne Palicki FTW) and, you know, a con artist. You can never go wrong with a con artist ;)

I haven't magically seen it yet or anything but even from the promos it just seems a cut above everything else I've seen. The promos just get me very excited.

I agree with all your choices, and most of Wombat's..lol I am also watching Vampire Diaries--guilty pleasure, books are better of course. *grabby hands for Sherlock*

Oh no fear of that. Mom's favourite line was "I'm in shock, look I have a blanket!" lol
