The Extremely Important Acquisition of Hugs by smallbutevil
Prompt: Sherlock finds that, for whatever reason, he really likes hugs and craves them intensely. But he can't let people know that, it just wouldn't do. So, with his genius brain at his disposal, he commences to try getting stealth hugs off of everyone.
(Some of Sherlock's 'stealth' methods are less stealthy than others. Some are rather loud actually.)

Summary: The first time Sherlock kisses him, John keeps his eyes open, and so does Sherlock, and mostly, he wonders what Sherlock could possibly be up to. There'll be some logic to this. Some ridiculous experiment about body warmth or respiratory rates or testing a new way of picking pockets. Sherlock does the unimaginable for bizarre reasons, but behind it, there's always logic and curiosity. Sometimes, it just takes him a while to explain it to John.
(Rating: PG. In which there is quite a lot of confusion and assumption, but they all figure it out in the end.)

(Author Rating: R/NC-17. First time fic. I didn't read this fic at first because I read the summary and foolishly assumed things. I should never ever assume. I don't have the words to accurately summarize this fic.)

The Death and Resurrection of the English Language - Part 1 and Part 2 by wordstrings
SUMMARY: Sherlock Holmes has recently grown aware that the problem must be one of language. He and John Watson clearly speak different versions of English. Must do. It's the only logical explanation.
(Author Rating: NC-17. First time fic. Part of the label of this bookmark is "REC THIS YOU CHICKEN." So I'm reccing it. This fic is extraordinary.)
