Sherlock recs

(Quite a few this week because several of these are recent reposts from the meme that I've been watching out for.)

GEN FIC

The Case of the Unexpected Guest by [livejournal.com profile] thirdbird
Prompt: "Lestrade finds a pet bird at a crime scene, but he likes birds, so he delivers it to Sherlock and John rather than having it euthanized. Sherlock is fascinated."
(A wonderful little case-fic, sweet and unexpected.)

In the Shadow of a Crease by [livejournal.com profile] ciaranbochna
Summary: This is crack
(Wonderfully mind-warping crack with quantum physics and origami and a surprise micro-crossover. Do not read while medicated. O.o)

Rematch by [livejournal.com profile] sam_storyteller
CROSSOVER: White Collar
Summary: Neal and Sherlock's rematch in London was the high point of the International Law Enforcement Conference -- until Neal's tracker went dark.
(The follow-up to Paper Chase. No knowledge of White Collar is necessary to enjoy either of these fics, but if you do watch White Collar you won't want to miss these.)

PRE-SLASH

And indeed there will be time by [livejournal.com profile] tigriswolf
CROSSOVER: Highlander
Prompt: Someone dealing with a panic attack.
(PG - kissing. Yes, she wrote this for my birthday but that doesn't make it any less awesome. Contains implied character death.)

I prefer to text by [livejournal.com profile] ellie_hell
Summary: Following the encounter with Moriarty, Sherlock and John grow closer via text messages.
(PG13 - kissing. Lovely, slow, shy development of a romantic relationship between Sherlock and John via text.)

SLASH

Bromance Isn't Dead by [livejournal.com profile] cyerus
Summary: John and Lestrade are epic bros.
(PG13 - Gen schmoop and cuddliness between men, background established Sherlock/John, background established Lestrade/OFC. This is a class-defier, and in the Slash category only due to the background S/J relationship, because I couldn't think of where else it might go. This story will top up your snuggle meters for ages. Also, John is the BAMFest babysitter ever.)

Bedtime Stories by Unovis on AO3
Summary: Sherlock had read the books. He thought they were compulsory.
(Warning for forced exposure to Winnie the Pooh? Adorable and funny.)

VID

Sherlock Audio Fun by [livejournal.com profile] andrea_deer
(This is a fun vid that's almost like several vids in one, plus bits of other show/movie soundtracks. Extra giggles for Supernatural fans.)

If you've seen something amazing that you think more people in the Sherlock fandom should have the chance to enjoy, please rec it at the main Sunday Recday post at [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc.
