Short Reaction: Avengers.

I saw The Avengers today with [livejournal.com profile] lurkingwombat, [livejournal.com profile] ciaranbochna, J and T.

Holy fleeping crap.

We saw it in 2D. I literally cannot imagine how 3D could possibly have made it better, because every single second was dripping with so much awesome there was no room for any more.

Watch the Avengers. If you like comic books. If you don't like comic books. If you liked/disliked/haven't seen either of the Iron Man movies, Thor, Captain America or anything else Marvel Universe related. If you like/dislike/don't care about/don't recognize the name Joss Whedon. It doesn't matter. See the Avengers.

If you understand the concept of 'movie', see the Avengers. If you are a fan of anything at all, see the Avengers. If you are breathing and have any earthly means of watching this movie, see the Avengers.

If you have seen it, see it again. Stay past the end of the end credits in case you didn't previous times watching. I want to watch it again, right now. I may need to watch it again later this week, if I can figure out a way.

Holy crap this movie. I need to watch it on repeat for a week with a notebook and a pause button to process all the glory. I don't know when the DVD comes out but it needs to be right the hell now.

So, yeah, I kind of recommend it.

*flails like a Muppet* Hells bells and crap yes!!! Three times and it rises in esteem with every damn sitting. I did mention I am obsessed with everything about this movie and err...Tom Hiddleston. It is probably odd how much I love the way he speaks and enunciates everything. *shuffles away* But yes, infinite awesome!

I saw it for the fourth time tonight.

I don't think I'm done flailing yet.

YES. I think this is a movie that crosses over genre preferences. It has so much to offer on so many different levels...

I'm up to 3 viewings and may hit more before it leaves theaters, and will definitely be buying the DVDs. It just gets it RIGHT in so many different ways. AWESOMESAUCE!!! Glad you got a chance to catch it on the big screen. :)

Hey...you sound like that voice in my head. I felt exactly the same way, and I've seen it again. Apparently Joss had to cut about 30 min of character stuff...so I'll just wait here for the DVD. kthanks *camps out*

There are a few good ones out there, but keep checking, since it is early days yet;)

I saw it for the 2nd time last week! It was my husband's 3rd time seeing it, and we were both STILL squeeing about it! In fact, your entire post is exactly what we feel!

Oh yay! I saw it and wanted to watch it again immediately!!! I am taking the kids again when it hits our cheap-o theater ($3 each!). But I really want to sneak out by myself and see it in 3d one of these days. Hee.

so I should probably watch it then? :)

Yes, all the people I know who watched the movie love them. We even discussed it in the office.

I watch once in 2D and once in 3D and looking forward for the DVD.

I like the word of your recommendation (whether you like/dislike something, watch it) :)
