I bought a sort of a Sherlock thing!

I found this while wandering through the local Superstore. It's not officially Sherlock merchandise, but whatever. I think it's awesome.

It's a mug patterned in cable-knit like John's oatmeal jumper!


Look how well it fits right in with my other vaguely Sherlock stuff!



I could have bought a lot of jumper-patterned things if I was truly obsessed since there was a similar teapot/cookie jar/creamer/sugar bowl/tumbler/water pitcher/etc in the same display, but I don't need any of those things, also money is not a thing I have much of, also also that much knobbly jumperness in my kitchen would be a little overbearing to face day in and day out, so I just got the mug.

I can now sip tea out of John's jumper! HOORAY! \o/

Awww! It works perfectly for a true Sherlock lover. ;)

One of the John/Sherlock fics I recc'ed recently has a LOT of references to John's sweaters, particularly Sherlock's desire to hide them or permanently make them go away. It seems they offend his sense of fashion, and clearly, Sherlock is not immune to fashion. ;)
