Snow! Again! Some more!

For those of you curious about the continuing snow on the south coastal regions of BC here's some pictures from my deck when I woke up. Yes I slept in 'til 2:30 in the afternoon, so? It's not like I can go anywhere...

2:30PMish - Depth... I don't know, I don't have a long enough ruler.
Currently -1 C/30 F and still snowing. Forecast for tomorrow has slipped a bit, now they're saying sunny and 10C/50F. Should be interesting.

Here's a couple more snowy pictures, just 'coz.

As long as it's snow and not ice. They'll both shut us down for a week, but ice also takes down trees and power lines and last time it killed my car. :(

That's the problem with living in NC. We get snow just often enough to love it, and not enough to hate, and every time anybody sees a flake, we have a statewide emergency. :)

Oooo! Pretty!!

All we're getting is rain now. And lots and lots of wind with intermittent power outages. **pouts**

Wow, you got way more snow than we have. It's not even covering the lawn yet. I hope we get enough that I don't have to work tomorrow.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to friend you, since we're both from BC and both love Supernatural, maybe we should get to know each other better? :)

Damn. I was hoping the weather report would be wrong.
I'm in suburban Victoria, not very close to the ocean but not that far either.

Yeah, I think north of the Malahat gets much more snow. I know I keep hearing how the Malahat is a nightmare to drive when it snows and there are always accidents. I know that the part of town I'm in gets more snow than downtown, for example, since it's right on the water. But beyond that, I suck at science so I can't say. :P
