Life: Realizations and Resolutions

Realizations for 2007

-Writer's Block does not necessarily mean having no idea what to write, or how, it may just mean that one is at point A, and one can see point C, but the path between is blocked by the giant bramble thicket of B. Also sometimes they happen for a reason, such as the main characters quietly going 'There's no way in hell we'd do that but we're being too polite to actually tell you flat out.'

-I am in a better position generally than I thought I was.

-I can do things that scare me stupid if I really want to.




Resolutions for 2008

-To go back and marathon season one again. Soon.

-Not to invoke any plot-bunnies larger than the frigging OED, or if I do, not to start posting them until I have a solid couple finished chapter lead on them, regardless of challenge deadlines, etc.

-Not to stop writing everything just because I'm blocked on one story.

-To try not to be such a freak about everything.

-To try not take things so personally. To think before I post.

-To stop and breathe once in a while.

Those are great resolutions. The way you phrased two had me smiling. It's a totally wonderful image of a bunny bigger than the OED.

They're like icebergs sometimes, plot bunnies are. They look small and cute and maybe a couple hundred words long, and then wham! Bunzilla. :-P

As far as all the resolutions I've heard/read... yours sound good and within reason.
