Fandom: Life in Hiatusland

My wiser head is telling me I probably shouldn't post this, but...






Enh... It's not that bad out there, really. It's primarily my own damn fault for wandering outside my usual browsing grounds. :-) It seems to be relatively universal, though; I went poking around for a few other shows I watch out of sheer masochism and it's wild and wooly all over. Maybe a side effect of the writer's strike?

Anyway, I drew this on Post-its and felt like sharing a giggle. I'm probably subconciously ripping off a very old Bloom County comic or something too. :-P

And how are your evenings/mornings/afternoons/unknowns/others going?

(ETA: And if anyone can tell me why my calendar thingy appears to be frozen in time and not noting that there's a post today, I'd love to know...) Never mind, it's apparently fixed itself. *throws holy water on LJ*

I was reading about a Kripke interview that's floating around and I have successfully avoided it's contents, so that's a win in my column. The only wank I've read is the "sexist misogynist Dean" conversations. I never comment, I just enjoy reading people's opinions. Sometimes I go to respond to something and I type out this big long comment and then X the tab out and forget about it, almost like just typing got it off my chest and I don't even need to post. Heh. Now that's a way to avoid getting sucked in! And I am rewatching Season 1 and realizing how damn cute and young and different they are. And I MISS it terribly. I hope Season 4 has a few more traditional retro season 1 type eps, that would be awesome. :)

I've managed to sidestep direct spoilage for Supernatural so far (barely), but I'm picking up second-hand spoilage vibes from the reactions other people are having to them. :-P Other shows, yeah, spoilers. Arg.

I never comment, I just enjoy reading people's opinions.

I'm not good with interpersonal conflict regardless of topic, and tend to kick my tonsils if I try to give an opinion of any sort on socio-political stuff, so I'm staying away from that end of things completely. :-/

Hiatus. Bleh. If I could pry my damned bunnies apart and write something silly and happy, I think I'd feel a lot better.

Actually, I've stayed almost right out of TWoP, except for kibbutzing a little in the Text Me thread and reccing kentawolf's latest comic. (I'm starting to think nothing is a spoiler by TWoP's standards these days.) This was elsewhere on LJ and some other sites. :-P Anyway, I did manage to avoid any actual spoilers, just got drift that there's something biggish out there making some usually calm fans quite... uncalm. :-P

But still, as far ar spoilers for Supernatural go, I don't wanna know about it, how worrisome or not it is, or even know it exists at all. Because I'm weird like that. :-)
