The weather is sunny, and hot for here. It's gotten into the 30's (...er... 86F) for the past few days, and the lowest the humidity has been is 30%, usually around 50%. All of which translates to damn hot and muggy as far as I'm concerned. Blech.

I'm off on a road trip today, because what better way to celebrate Canada's birthday than by hanging out with friends and watching British science fiction! We're watching the final two episodes of Season 2 Torchwood, and as many episodes of Season 4 Doctor Who as we can get through, probably the first three so no spoilers please. ;-)

I'm inaugurating my cakehole mug today too, though I doubt it will be with hot coffee. :-P

Happy Canada Day! I've always loved that picture. :) Oh, boys. You're so goofy. So they're starting work on July 3? Before Independence Day? That kind of sucks for them. But hopefully it results in seeing some skin for us. ;)

According to the Reel West site, they start filming on July 3rd, but they might start with the scenes with the people who don't survive the teaser ;-P I think Jared said at a con recently they would be starting filming around then though.

All of course depending on whether there's an actors strike.

Jared told a number of folks in Australia that they (he?) start shooting today (July 2). Make of that what you will. *is still thinking good thoughts of boys in minimal layers*

Well, today there's supposed to be a thunderstorm, so layers are unlikely to be reduced, however I suspect thunder and lightning might be nicely atmospheric for shooting the season opener. Not that they can use it since it's not going to be going off on cue. :-P

They weren't filing on the first, so no worries there, but I don't know about the 4th. It's a much bigger thing in the states than Canada Day is here, apparently.
