Interim Crossover observation on Supernatural 4.08

Life (particularly the work part of life which seems to be intent on taking the 'life' part of my life) is trying mightily to harsh my frigging squee. This shall not be allowed.

So, reaction post will be late, again, but in the meantime here is a small crossover observation on 4.08.

AUDREY

is

BOO

As in Boo from Monsters Inc. Only 4 or 5 years older. Seriously, look at the hair. Her ponytails just migrated downward with age. *nods*

except the Monsters Inc character is really named Mary and Audrey isn't an animated character but whatever

I have no idea why, but I only just saw the movie recently, and then there was the crack fic, so the association popped out at me. I blame stress, lack of sleep and flu shot reactions.

That explains it! Teddy's silhouette through the door when Audrey pushes it open reminded me of something but I couldn't think of it at the time... And it was Sully all along, hee.

So I had this whole comment done up, tossing around the idea of a sequel to the crackfic wherein the brothers run into the Monsters Inc crew after they've switched to collecting laughter, and talking about how Audrey pushing the door open to reveal the big fuzzy shadow had reminded me of something but I couldn't put my finger on it til you brought it up. Had this whole amusing little babbly thing to make you grin whenever you came back from your solitude... But then LJ ate it...

So insetad ::lots of hugs and good vibes:: If the drabble comes back to me I'll comment again...

I really don't know how blown Sam and Dean's minds would be by the closet monster dimension's switch to laughter. I don't think Dean would believe it.

Considering it now, it would be more along the lines of the closet monsters stumbling into them by accident and scrambling to try and keep the Winchesters out of their dimension while also proving their innocense... and in my sleep addled cracktastic brain I see Sam getting stuck on their side, and when Dean finally gets to him, he's well and truly laughing.......
