Random: Unexpected scientific experimentation

Experiment in hydrostatic shock. At leat I think it's hydrostatic shock.

Step 1: Place nine pound box of Mandarin oranges on snowy roof of car.
Step 2: Look away for one freaking second.
Step 3: Look back up to see what that strange slithery noise is.
Step 4: Watch nine pounds of boxed seasonal citrus fruit hit the pavement and roll.

The box landed on one of the corners, it kind of mashed itself over but didn't break or pop open and one orange, I don't know, freaking tessered out of the box or something because it went flying seperately on impact and landed ten feet away. Surprisingly, none of the oranges burst. Not a single one. I was expecting to have to come up with a quick creative use for nine pounds of mashed mandarins.

In other news, it's snowing sideways, thick and heavy. We already have the 2 cm Environment Canada had revised their prediction down to earlier. Roads are not fun. I'm hermitted up with my box of distressed mandarin oranges and a ton of tea. Let it freaking snow! \o/

Yay! Snow! Haven't seen any since I went to NZ! Pretty! :)

I like your plan there. :)

Hee! I was referring to the hermitting. :)

HAHAHA. I'm sorry if the tumbling oranges were upsetting but the way you describe it is hilarious. :) Good to see you chipper!

I think we should sing again. CURRENT MUSIC BE DAMNED.

Glad you and the oranges survived! Nice to see you in a better mood and not stressing about work and stuff.

But how... they survived???

When you eat them, let us know if you find anything... different ^o^

I'm hermitted up with my box of distressed mandarin oranges and a ton of tea.

That sounds utterly perfect!

Whooooops! Truly one of those moments when time stands still. Glad your mandarins are unscathed.

Is there Big Snow in Vancouver as well? We can expect snowbanks in 4.15? And [frak] many layers?

We might yet see Sam and Dean in those parkas. *snerk*

Tall Tales - yikes. I'm thinking of the girl in the little white dress in the opening scenes. Poor kid must've seriously frozen her butt off. At least the boys can wear thermal underwear.

*blink* *blink* *splortfl!* *wipes tea off screen*

lucky though - no splotted mandarins at all!

we're holed up too - no mandarins :( but lots of tea and lots of inches and still falling....
