Every Supernatural fan needs to go read this meta. Right now. It's long, but seriously, suck it up and read it. (Unless you're still avoiding spoilers for 4.10 and 4.11, but read it immediately afterward.)

This is what's going on with Dean. If those two episodes or any part of season 4 gave you any issues about Dean, this meta will address them. It's what I was trying to explain in the 4.11 reaction, and so much more, but I didn't have the words to do it. dodger_winslow's got 'em in spades.

It really is! I think she has some sort of behavioral science background, so it's awesome when she lets loose with an analysis like that! :-D
