Sunday Productivity report
Hm. I intended to write Fic today. Instead I:
-Did two loads of laundry
-Vacuumed
-Did dishes
-Cleaned the kitchen
-Got an unstoppable urge to make cookies.
-Got stuff to make cookies.
-Misjudged how many teaspoons of baking powder convert to how many tablespoons of baking powder.
-Misjudged how big a full batch of chocolate chip cookie dough was.
-Misjudged how many vaguely cookie-sheet-like objects I own.
-Misjudged the remnants of my roll of aluminum foil (aka 'back up cookie sheet').
-Improvised cookie sheets.
-Managed to turn the dough for three dozen theoretical cookies into fifteen kind of poofy cookies and a staggering number of charcoal briquettes.
-(Oh, and also turned part of it into a log of cookie dough in the freezer, suitable for cookie emergencies or for bludgeoning intruders.)
-In the process, also rendered my kitchen unclean in a huge way.
-And made absolutely certain that my smoke alarm works.
-Very, very well.
-Sigh.
Yay for Sundays! \o/

My day has been laughable. No feeling guilty needed.
+ tin foil cookie sheets = total life saver!
Totally. Which is why the two inches of tinfoil left on the roll was so irksome.

Apparently I did, but it's NCIS (????) for that Gen Battle thing. I have no idea.

I keep telling myself that it's just that every place I've lived has a super sensitive smoke alarm, but no.
Candles = romantic when they're NOT lit directly under the smoke alarm.
Eeek. Yeah. Open flames and smoke alarms don't get along well. I only light a candle once a year (winter solstice) and am so frigging paranoid about snuffing all sources of flame smokelessly. Last thing anyone needs in the building is fire alarms going off after midnight. :-)
