Sunday report
-Work. Canadian Tax Season is thundering down to the inevitable deadline, and if we can get through without clawing each other's eyes out it will be a minor miracle. Tomorrow is the start of "the week that never ends" where we work at least 13 days straight through, Sundays and everything (possibly 20 days) Long hours every day, averaging 10.5, maxing out at 16 at the end. (or at least I hope that's the max) As a result, I'm either going to be scarce or spammy and random as hell trying to maintain my sanity. Fair warning.
-Cat. Chaos is doing better, he's still quiet and subdued, like he's worried if he acts up at all I'll take him back to the bad vet place. Poor guy. Barring relapse, he won't need to go back for testing again until sometime in May.
-Writing. The weird bunnies continue to bounce. Don't know whether I'll manage to post any of it before "the week that never ends" gets underway, but we'll see. The next two reaction posts will also be a challenge since I have no idea when I'm even going to be able to watch the episodes. But we'll see how that goes.
-Weather. Awesome, but needs more rain. I'd love a week's worth of torrential downpour right now.
-Life. Continues.
I'm going to try to do enough cleaning to last the next 13 days and then make some tea. What are you all up to?

Hope y'all do okay, and no one gets their eyes clawed out. Messy that, what with the blood and oppily goopily of the eyes all over the place.

and workity-work-work-working in the hopes that I can get done early and do something hopefully fun + scary....

I know, it's rather nervous making. The humidity's been generally under 50% for a while. :-/

Tea centre's rooibos is way better than Tetley. Either that or I didn't let it brew long enough.

I'd claim you didn't let it brew long enough....but I am notorious non-fan of rooibos :D
again - tea, such good ideas you have! *toddles off to put the kettle on* :)

Im moving with my whole family in about a week, methinks I'll be busy, too ;D

At this time of year that's impossible. Even a caffeine overdose would be relaxing. :-)

Oh my! Good luck with it! :-D

Good luck your work! Cleaning accomplished and tea in hand sounds like an excellent way to prepare to kick off the busy season.

Right after 4.20 airs. ;-)

Oh the busy season kicked off back in January. This is just the mega-crunch insane time, followed by one and a half more months of busy and another crunch, then several months of catching up from busy. And then busy again. :-P
Good luck with your project!

I love that your calendar is an episode list.

What are you all up to?
I just devoured some dinner because I had let my blood sugar get all wonky low, and now I am procrastinating. (I still have 14 student papers to grade tonight. Arg and also, sigh.) Wheeee. At least I, too, have tea. :D

Yay tea! *is brewing second pot of vanilla rooibos*

Glad Chaos is doing ok. I was wondering about him. Poor kitty.
Here's hoping you survive your work with your sanity mostly intact! Cheers!

I suppose I won't worry to much that you've fallen off the face of the earth for the next couple weeks then. :/
Hard to tell, I could go random and spammy this year. Have to see how the time vs. Sanity equation calculates out.
Poor kitty.
Aside from the 'we aren't going back to the bad place are we?" thing, he's doing pretty good. He's getting a lot more wet cat food to make sure he eats at given times so he's quite thrilled by that development :-)

As always! *hugs*

Well, I have enough crap tea to last several months. I cheaped out on the last sack of generitea I got and am seriously regretting it. It tastes like wet dog smell. :-P
Hoping for rain for you:)
It would help. I'm not normally sensitive to pollen, but the stuff is coating everything. Between when I park in the morning and I unpark at night there is a sheet of yellow powder settled onto my car, drifting down the windows. :-P

It was a no-name brand tea. Really I should know better, but I've gotten good teas like that in the past. :-/

doing pretty good here
(Anonymous) 2009-04-21 05:18 pm (UTC)(link)Lurking Wombat de-lurking for a bit. You wanted to know what i was up to?
Well, i am culling thru various media i own. The other day i took a bunch of cds & dvds to my local record/cd/video/dvd store to trade in for credit. Figured i would get about $30. That would have been ok as i had some stuff on hold there. Turns out i got $111 in credit :) :) So got the stuff on hold plus an extra dvd and now have $47 (in credit) left to spend :)
Also, went to my local Chapters on payday and picked up a fantasy series by Sharon Shinn that i am loving. Also, got a special little book called "The Torchwood Archive". It is very cool!! Not much else is new, work is going ok and looking forward to seeing the Dragonball Evolution movie in the theatre soon. Had the red-headed "S" over last night and we watched the pilot for an interesting show called "Being Human". Quite good. You would like it, me thinks :
Anyways, hope work doesn't drag you under
going back to lurking now

Re: doing pretty good here
Cool! Why am I certain that even after the culling it will be hard to tell that there are any fewer cds and DVDs? ;-)

I don't know if I've heard of it or if I'm confusing it with "Being Erica".
Anyways, hope work doesn't drag you under
Hahahaha. 11 hours today, day 2 of my 13 day (minimum) week, and I've begun chipping the surface of discovery on just how much of the stuff that certain people were supposed to be doing never got done. Whee! :-P
