Sunday report

-Work. Canadian Tax Season is thundering down to the inevitable deadline, and if we can get through without clawing each other's eyes out it will be a minor miracle. Tomorrow is the start of "the week that never ends" where we work at least 13 days straight through, Sundays and everything (possibly 20 days) Long hours every day, averaging 10.5, maxing out at 16 at the end. (or at least I hope that's the max) As a result, I'm either going to be scarce or spammy and random as hell trying to maintain my sanity. Fair warning.

-Cat. Chaos is doing better, he's still quiet and subdued, like he's worried if he acts up at all I'll take him back to the bad vet place. Poor guy. Barring relapse, he won't need to go back for testing again until sometime in May.

-Writing. The weird bunnies continue to bounce. Don't know whether I'll manage to post any of it before "the week that never ends" gets underway, but we'll see. The next two reaction posts will also be a challenge since I have no idea when I'm even going to be able to watch the episodes. But we'll see how that goes.

-Weather. Awesome, but needs more rain. I'd love a week's worth of torrential downpour right now.

-Life. Continues.

I'm going to try to do enough cleaning to last the next 13 days and then make some tea. What are you all up to?

Well, tax season is done down here. Yeah! It got a bit hectic at the end there.

Hope y'all do okay, and no one gets their eyes clawed out. Messy that, what with the blood and oppily goopily of the eyes all over the place.

She's still breating. Does that count?

glad to hear Chaos is doing ok, even though subdued!

we totally need more rain - drought going on here!

and workity-work-work-working in the hopes that I can get done early and do something hopefully fun + scary....

(good luck with everything!)

tea sounds like a wonderful idea though....pardon me.... :D

they keep claiming it's going to rain, then moving the days along :(

I'd claim you didn't let it brew long enough....but I am notorious non-fan of rooibos :D

again - tea, such good ideas you have! *toddles off to put the kettle on* :)

sounds like you'll be a bit busy - don't over do the coffee ;)
Im moving with my whole family in about a week, methinks I'll be busy, too ;D

I have a deadline coming up on a project and my house is about ready to post its own ad for a cleaning service. The dust bunnies have unionized (that's what happens when they are left on their own too long) and the children don't even bother looking in the drawers for clean clothes--straight to the dryer. I hope we don't get to the point where they start rooting through the hamper for the less-dirty clothes, but I have another ten days or so before I turn this sucker in. (When does May start anyway?)

Good luck your work! Cleaning accomplished and tea in hand sounds like an excellent way to prepare to kick off the busy season.

;-)

I love that your calendar is an episode list.

Well, poo-- I'm sorry to hear you're about to be buried beneath work-- and worse, to potentially have to wait to see the new SPNs, so sad! :( ::hugs you:: I'm very glad to hear that Chaos is doing well, though.

What are you all up to?
I just devoured some dinner because I had let my blood sugar get all wonky low, and now I am procrastinating. (I still have 14 student papers to grade tonight. Arg and also, sigh.) Wheeee. At least I, too, have tea. :D

Sometimes (during finals, mostly) I think I'm going to drink so much tea I shall float away. I'm on my fourth Very Large Cup (so, maybe 8th cup?) and that's not including the 2 Very Large Glasses of iced tea I also had... :D

I suppose I won't worry to much that you've fallen off the face of the earth for the next couple weeks then. :/

Glad Chaos is doing ok. I was wondering about him. Poor kitty.

Here's hoping you survive your work with your sanity mostly intact! Cheers!

Ok I hope you have enough tea to last through the week that never ends--it always helps calm me in a crisis. Oh and their Rooibos and Tetley--well you know there is no comparison for me;) Man do I need some loose Rooibos though..sigh. And sleep, could use buckets of that:P I am glad that Chaos is doing better, and I hope you have the odd second to yourself--enough time to make tea, pet Chaos, and possibly watch the boys? Not much doing here, still looking for something, trying to write more, and clean--helps to not think, that and the LOUD music:) Hoping for rain for you:)

Hugs

Wet dog smell--wow. That is a horrible thing you have found. Would it be good for plants--use it for dirt? Not sure what else..lol Rain to get rid of the pollen sounds like a plan--all we have around here are plum blossoms, so that sounds highly irritating. I am currently trying to break my own record for not sleeping--think I may stay home and watch Dr. Who first season today, not move too much. One more day of the week has passed, and I hope the rest go by in a blur for you--with rain. Oh yes, and Being Human showed promise last night, looking forward to more episodes.

Hugs

hey there
Lurking Wombat de-lurking for a bit. You wanted to know what i was up to?
Well, i am culling thru various media i own. The other day i took a bunch of cds & dvds to my local record/cd/video/dvd store to trade in for credit. Figured i would get about $30. That would have been ok as i had some stuff on hold there. Turns out i got $111 in credit :) :) So got the stuff on hold plus an extra dvd and now have $47 (in credit) left to spend :)
Also, went to my local Chapters on payday and picked up a fantasy series by Sharon Shinn that i am loving. Also, got a special little book called "The Torchwood Archive". It is very cool!! Not much else is new, work is going ok and looking forward to seeing the Dragonball Evolution movie in the theatre soon. Had the red-headed "S" over last night and we watched the pilot for an interesting show called "Being Human". Quite good. You would like it, me thinks :
Anyways, hope work doesn't drag you under
going back to lurking now
