Speculation as coping mechanism
I was full of happy floaty-ness earlier today. I have no idea why. It was freaky. But then the day went to hell. (snipped long work story that shouldn't be public ) Sigh. Faaaark. Bright side? It's not Thursday. There'd be blood in the scuppers if it was Thursday.
Anyway, things I think about while stuck at work by circumstances beyond my control (contains spoilers for season 4 episodes aired to date and speculation that carries on through the finale and into season 5)
-Mary-in-Sam's head being supportive of what he's doing actually supports my theory about Sam and the blood, in a way. It could be the growing demon inside, or a residue of Ruby, but Ruby is, in essence, subsuming the mother role for Sam. Mary's hair being darker might then be a reflection of that. If I'm right, Dean, when he finds out what's really happening.... OW.
-Speaking of Dean finding out. I'm now thinking that if I'm right, there will be a reveal of it in the finale in some way, but no one who can be in a position to help Sam will see it. Right now in my head the likeliest scenario feels like Sam getting taken over, then the overriding demon (be it the demonseed or Lucifer) will have Sam murder someone Dean gives a crap about in front of Dean. Probably (ohgodnopleasenodammitalltohellNO!!!) Bobby. Because the foreshadowing is there, and has been for a long while. Plus Bobby's like Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan dies. Hardening Dean towards Sam, but in a highly conflicted way, but in error, because he won't know right then that Sam is not himself and is possessed in a way. The first bit of next season will be Dean trying to find Sam and fighting with himself about it. Somewhere early to mid season-ish, he'll clue in that Sam's possessed and there will be buckets and buckets and buckets of angst. Then it'll shift from finding Sam and stopping him to finding Sam and saving him. Cue interference demons/angels/rogue angels/The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (ohpleaseohpleaseohpleeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!1!)
-However, I'd also like to note that I've had pet theories be epically wrong before.
-Random non-spoilery thought: "Teach your Children" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young would make a heck of a vid for Supernatural. Think about it. John and the boys? And Mary?
Ooo! I can go home now. Frigging yay.

Second, why are the most pain in the ass customers the slowest to pay? Had to give a woman prices on a cooktop and dishwasher today. Went with the high end of the "suggested retail price" cause she is such a horror to deal with. Gave her the prices, she looked to my dad and asked if that was the best we could do. He doesn't like her either, and backed me up. We're both hoping she buys somewhere else. She's renovating her house and let the painters finish with the cathedral ceiling completely before deciding she didn't like the color and telling them to repaint it. She couldn't have noticed that she didn't like the color while they were painting the walls? Before they did the ceiling and took the scaffolding down? Excuse me for venting all over your journal.
Third..."Teach Your Children" would be awesome. Think I'll go poke Wolfpup with your idea.
Hope you get to go home soon!

I know I don't want it to happen, but I have this dread feeling it will. If he survives the season, it might be the same way John survived Season 1, only to die very early in season 2. :-/
Excuse me for venting all over your journal.
No worries, vent away! Good grief that woman sounds like a meanace to herself.

Cool!

Home now! Gah.

While I am ready with the tissues, comfort food and girly mixed drinks for tomorrow night, what would disappoint me the most? Not having Wayward Son play at the beginning. The boys may fight and hurt each other, Bobby may or may not bite it, but if Wayward Son doesn't play at the beginning with a kick ass montage I will die! ;-)
I realize that is crazy-talk and that I may be the only person who feels this strongly about it, LOL.

Off to work. Be back to cry or something after the show tonight!

OMG I know! If he does, the Bobby-fic will be epic, I suspect.

Oh they have to! They've been skimping on the music all year! Gah. I am so unprepared for the finale tomorrow. I was going to get things and plan and suchlike tonight, and possibly wind up a little fic before it gets too traumatised to hop, but plans went haywire for me thanks to work. Gah.
I have half a nefarious plot afoot though... maybe. I think.

It's fandom, dude. It's all crazy-talk to varying degrees. :-)

Speculation is a good coping mechanism. I'm just trying to tell myself that I have faith, and not a hair's breadth from completely freaking out...

So now I have goose bumps thinking about it. But yeah, season finales are usually bloody, aren't they? *meep*

Considering the last one they did when they knew they had renewal was season 3? EEEP! O.O
