Random observation.

Shark Attack 3: Megalodon must be watched with other people and MST3K'd. Particularly with people who watch Torchwood, because Captain Jack totally got into a barrel of Retcon by accident and wound up being a shore patroller in Mexico fending off a stock footage mega-shark. *nods*

In other news CHUCK GOT RENEWED!!! \o/ (that's Chuck the TV show, not the other one.) 13 episodes never felt better.

That's awesome, isn't it! It'll be interesting to see him play with his new ninja skilz next season. As long as he doesn't lose his... Chuckness, I'll be happy.

Most of my favs got renewed except for The Unusuals. I loved that bunch of quirky cops. Oh, well.

I know! I think I know how they're going to handle the new stuff so a) it doesn't get over-the-top super-spy crazy and will remain balanced, and b) so it will fit within the reduced budget, and it will make the 'Chuckness' just that much more.

Apparently nasty people were making fun of John Barrowman for doing this movie and his nephew piped up and said, "How many movies have you made?" Everyone needs nephews like that!

Yes they do. Personally, I wasn't making fun of him for being in it, he pretty much makes the movie. It's just the movie itself is almost 'Plan Nine from Outer Space' level of bad that's so bad it's transcendant. All actors need to be in a movie like this at some point in their career. :-D

Personally, I wasn't making fun of him ...

No, I didn't think the nephew needed to go after you. I think Barrowman's explanation is that he says "yes" to pretty much everything just to see what it's like. Hence this film. Not sure I could sit through it. But I think you should write the story when Ianto and Gwen come to rescue retconned Captain Jack from his shark-hunting life, if he survives the film.

Ha. You're forgetting it's still the busy season (though not crazy busy) at work, and that... I don't think it's a spoiler to say this. The finale has set every single plot-bunny I'e ever had hopping, it seems. Including ones I started back in season 1 and a new one that's threatening to take over the world at this rate. It's not the time, it's the focus. Well, it's the time, too, because if I posted fic every single day until season 5 started, I still wouldn't be caught up. Plus, there's this life thing I need to get a handle on and the massive backlog of general mundane things that have been on hold since January. :-P

If I had focus, I'd be dangerous.

Oh, he told a pretty funny thing about that movie in an interview once... did you see the version with the dirty line at the end or the one with the nonsensical dubbed line covering it? :-D

definitely a movie that should not be experienced alone :) sitting beside funny snarkers should be listed as required on the box :D

Also he probably would have broken cover once the prehistoric shark showed up. And not sucked so badly at the 'not doing stupid things' skill, although he was far above loads of the people in that movie in that department.

Work is sucking like a pneumatic warthog, arg.

I agree, as J said as well--REQUIRED watching with others, loads of comments needed, otherwise you might find your brain melting:P Still, those Megalodon shots eating things definitely were worth it..lol
