ARE THEY ANY GOOD: *shrug* they suit my purposes. It kind of freaks me out a little when I see someone else using an icon I made in a comment elsewhere. I do a double-take and think for a second it might be me and I forgot commenting :-)

16 things meme

Rules: Once you’ve been tagged, write an entry with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 16 people to be tagged.

Random, eh?

1) I moved in a year ago and still haven't unpacked.

2) I used to skip evening classes in college to watch Babylon 5, even though I was recording it on tape too. I still don't regret it.

3) I absolutely hate when cashiers read my name off my debit/store/whatever card and address me by it in any form. It's not a bad name, and I know the cashier is only doing as the store policy dictates, but it annoys the hell out of me.

4) I am not seven feet tall.

5) I prefer writing to talking, because I can edit myself, and I have reference material for what was said. My memory is absolute crap.

6) I own a five-foot-long sword. It's very blunt.

7) I keep a text file open for random notes and bits of story at all times. Before I started doing this, I'd burn through a pack of post-it notes in four hours (and lose half of them anyway).

8) I have a mild addiction to office supplies, and have since I was about twelve.

9) I play pen-and-paper RPGs. I have a game that I'm GM-ing in a world I created. It's been on hold since I got into SPN fandom.

10) I check my fandom e-mail about ~~twice~~ twenty times as often as my regular e-mail.

11) I own two pairs of shoes, and I never buy a pair of shoes that costs more than thirty bucks.

12) I am not Jensen Ackles.

13) I never answer the phone at home, or answer my cell. All the ringers are off. I often forget to check my cellphone voicemail for weeks.

14) I used to go to conventions all the time in the 90's. I once bartended at a Star Trek/Vampire convention (Star Trek in the day, Vampires at night) at a room party for 72 hours straight. It was surreal.

15) I still haven't read past issue #4 of SPN: Origins, and haven't read any of SPN: Rising Son. Or Witches Canyon. Or Bone Key. I haven't read them because I haven't had the time and know that if I read them I'll need to rant about them, and I have too much stuff already in progress right now to add to the stack. Also, after the effect issue #3 and 4 had on me, I worry that the rest of it will send my blood pressure into orbit.

16) I haven't read any of the reference-style tie-in stuff I own either, because I really do have far more plot-bunnies than I can handle, and I desperately want to be able to focus and get things written and posted, dammit.
