*is boggled*

I just watched last night's Chuck and this will make no sense to anyone who isn't following both shows, but I have to get this out or I'm gonna explode.

HOLY CRAP, CROWLEY'S RUNNING THE RING???

Or at least in the upper echelon. The crossovers write themselves, seriously. Wow. O.O

There was a great comment on io9.com:
Oh, and Chuck is now an official scifi show because Mark Sheppard made a guest appearance — and he's the barometer of quality genre TV. He's like the blue ribbon that makes Pabst more than just "any old beer."
I would just like to note that while SPN didn't make it until the fifth season with Crowley, and Chuck not till the third with Mr. Ring-man, Warehouse 13 got its ribbon in the very first season. . . .

Don't know who Crowley is, but I first saw Mark Sheppard in Firefly which automatically makes him part of genre excellence, and then he popped up in Leverage. So looking forward to seeing him in SPN. (Crowley's a demon in Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's fabulous Good Omens, so has he popped up demonically in SPN too?)

idiot, moron, imbecile (me, that is)

Clicked post comment and then thought "Aleister Crowley". If SPN has a Crowley I'm assuming he's named after Aleister.

Between his characters on Firefly, Leverage, SPN, BSG, and now Chuck, every single one is similar enough that the crossovers really do write themselves. And every character could honestly also be Crowley in that time and space. It is wonderful to see him pop up on a new show because my brain immediately starts overlapping storylines with Crowley in yet another disguise. :) On a similar note, SPN's beloved Lucifer and War made another appearance on LOST a week ago playing...dun dun dun...the Devil and the Black Smoke. Or were they??? Which one is the real Devil and which one is the possible good guy? I just found it very funny that the same actor gets to play the Devil on two shows at the same time.

And yet also endearing and sad. He can draw you in while still maintaining an air of creepy, sinister danger.
