Life: And in other news...
So, in case anyone was wondering why I'm almost nonexistent right now, here's a summary. Not complaining, just explaining.
My last day off, (not holiday day off, but "not going to work and doing work" day off, like the traditional yet mythical 'weekend') was the 11th of April.
My next day off? Probably not until May 9th. Yeah. So, 27 straight days, no weekends, no Sundays, nothing. Right now averaging 11 actual hours a day, that's going to continue going up until the 30th, culminating in possibly a 16 hour day, and then hopefully get a bit more reasonable hours-wise after the 2nd.
What this means in general is for the next while I'm in survival mode, focusing on staying sane (which is turning out to be a vastly huger challenge than anticipated :-/) and basic living things like cleaning and sleeping.
I'll be keeping up on Supernatural because otherwise I'll get spoiled to death and that would be more depressing than I could handle. However, it's a real bear to get detailed reaction posts done before the next episode, so things might get sparse for the next couple. Which is extremely frustrating because the reaction posts are my only creative outlet right now, and these episodes are the ones needing the most brain, whereas I'm scraping the bottom of the scraps bucket in that department. :-P
Anyway. Not complaining, but that's why I'm not around so much right now. Will be trying to catch up on comments and f-list later today.
Also, on a side note I've discovered that Series 5 of Doctor Who is available on Canadian iTunes. I won't be able to watch any of them 'til sometime in May or June, but between that and buying the Supernatural episodes each week, my iTunes budget is beyond toast. :-P
