I've got 12 hours to pack up things and clean/wash/launder things so I can pack them and I'm at the "stare at thing I need to do and think of 15 other things I need to do first and end up not doing anything useful". In 12 hours I have to be loading all my crap on the truck. And sometime in there I should sleep some. I guess. AAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!

On the up side, the internet is supposed to be getting hooked up right after I move, or possibly during if the Tech shows up when he's said he might.

ETA: it's 4AM. I need to get some sleep.

It'll all get done because it has to. But it will require some loud music and inadvisable amounts of caffeine.

Got a call and a vague yet urgent message from the property manager at quarter after 8 AM today. Spent 90 minutes fending off a panic attack trying to get hold of him to find out what was going on, because his phone line was going to the answering service until 9 am, and then he was not in the office and I had to wait for a callback.

The landlord is putting the place on the market. I need to take time off work to let a realtor in to take pictures of the place, and then more time off work to let random people wander around in it whenever they feel like it. I've been through this crap twice before and the situation pretty much triples my regular anxiety levels. I really don't need that, especially considering tax season is in more than full swing and I'm already drowning trying to keep up with the crap at work.

In short, I'm probably going to move rather than put up with this bullshit again. Somehow.

At the moment I have no computer. I am posting this from my phone by laboriously typing it on a keyboard the size of the stick of chewing gum, alternating with some hilarious attempts to use voice recognition. My computer is in the shop and the best I can probably hope for is data recovery; it's fairly toast. Since I am out of work and broke, this will make things ...interesting for a while. :-P

I usually post a list of TV show premieres I'm watching this premiere season, but the list I put together is on my currently inaccessible hard drive. If I can piece together a list (since my hard drive is very literally a large part of my memory these days, I've forgotten what most of the new shows that I'm planning to watch are) I may yet post a list of premiere dates and times. The first though is Doctor Who tonight! Sometime! \o/

It's going to be tricky for me to get online for a while and even trickier to do any writing until I can afford to replace the computer. I am steadfastly not thinking about the possibility the data can't be recovered. I do have backups, though they aren't 100% current and I can't access them except on a Mac I'd be recovering the backup files to. I'd estimate that in that is over a million words of fiction, fanfic and otherwise. I'm realizing during this lack of computer that I have a need to type things at a keyboard to get my thoughts together about anything at all. So there's another challenge along with looking for work that I'm trying to accomplish on my phone. Bleh.

Anyway, there's an update.

Various technical and scheduling glitches have conspired to harsh my squee and as a result I haven't watched tonight's "Agents of SHIELD" or the Supernatural Season 9 premiere. Until I have a chance to watch them, I'll be stepping gingerly about the place avoiding spoilers. So no change from last year, really. :-P

I just got an e-mail from an LJ bot telling me my scrapbook has been migrated to the new thing, whatever it is. Apparently, I have 8193 images uploaded here. Yipe.

It's also telling me there are 28 migration errors, so somewhere in all the picspams and photo and image uploads around here there are 28 missing images. Somewhere. If you find where a missing image needs to be re-uploaded, please let me know. If you find every single one, there might be a prize drabble in it or something, because damn you'd need to be awfully bored to hunt them all up.

Also, I just took a quick peek at one image set and experimented a tiny bit aaaaand.... it might be a long while before I can get a picspam posted again because the albums for some reason seem to post images now in reverse upload order which is the opposite of useful in a reaction picspam, so I'll be kludging a way around that when the time comes. I already have a few ideas, no worries, just a pain in the butt.

No idea yet if my batch uploader is even going to talk to the new system. BLEEEEAH.

Anyway, I've been trying to get through 7.18 for over a week. I should not start watching an episode during a week night, it never goes well. :-P

ETA: Oh. It's also smushed my Icons folder into my random things that don't fit anywhere else folder. Yaaaaay... *headdesk*

So, as some of you may have noticed, I'm not even close to caught up on watching the back log of episodes before the Supernatural Season Seven finale tomorrow later today. I'm on 7.17, still working through them at the pace life is letting me get to them. I'll be scanning the f-list with one eye closed until I get fully caught up and see the finale, but I hope you all enjoy the hell out of it.

But don't tell me anything, okay? ;-)
