No one in my family knows I'm a fan of Sherlock, so I kind of cheated. I got the Union flag fabric a few months back, and asked mom to make it into a pillow for me. She gave it back to me for Christmas. :-)

I found it on ebay for about a pound plus shipping, and it wound up costing less than a decent cup of coffee in total. Check fabric stores though, you might luck in.

How very British!

Did you get the Doctor Who Christmas Special over there? We got it on Boxing Day, which was wonderful, and it was so bloody cold down here that a winter-themed episdoe actually felt right. Coldest December day for decades, apparently. I need to remember that when it's February and the temperature is back in the 40s celcius!

I still haven't seen Series five yet, although if the Christmas special is part of New Years plans as usual, I'm going to have to rush and catch up over the next few days. :-/

My unexpectedly rich grandmother (she sold her small unit for a bizarre amount earlier this year) gave me a very nice cheque for Christmas and I blew it on box sets of the Specials and Season Five. So I'm looking forward to wallowing in them now that Christmas is over.

I had missed the final episode of Season Five because I left Australia one week before it screened here and arrived in the UK a couple of weeks after it screened there. So I watched that one episode as soon as I got it - Christmas preparation be damned!

The Christmas Special follows on pretty directly from the last episode of Season Five, so you'll have to catch up quickly!

Ooooooo! Freaking awesome! My mom knitted me a scraf with John's sweater pattern that I found on LJ and emailed to her. I can't get a pic online yet though cause I'm still in "borrowing a computer mode". Now I want to find me some fabric too.....

I got the square off ebay for about the price of a decent coffee after shipping a few months ago, so it's not a huge expenditure if you can't find something at your local fabric shop.
