2014 Fall TV premieres

Right, since the season's pass for Murdoch Mysteries Season 8 is now available on iTunes and at least one show I'm watching/saving for later premieres this upcoming week, I'd better put up my 2014 premiere listing for shows I intend to watch in one way or another.

North American Shows:

Scorpion [NEW] CBS - September 22nd 9PM
(A geeky/nerdy/genius crime-fighting ensemble show. It's actual title of </scorpion> will be causing a lot of HTML errors if anyone tries talking about it online though.)

Forever [NEW] ABC - September 22nd 10PM
(Something about immortals and procedural cop shows is pinging off my age-old Forever Knight memories so I thought it might be worth checking out. Also, Ioan Gruffudd is kind of cool.)

Agents of SHIELD ABC - September 23 8PM
(I loved this show last season even though it took a while to really get going, and I recommend this series to anyone who watches the Marvelverse movies, as it ties in heavily. It's like the background of what's going on between the movies for the non-super-powered parts of Shield etc. Also, it's made me finally, fully realize that Joss Whedon is awesome. Also also, there's going to be a mid-season time-slot swap with another new Marvelverse show about Peggy Carter, Cap's Shield Agent crush in the 1940's, so yeah, I'm there for that too.)

How to Get Away With Murder [NEW] ABC - September 25th 10PM
(The concept sounds interesting, and what I've seen for promos it looks like it has some potential. Not sure about it in the long term though.)

Criminal Minds CBS - October 1 9PM
(*shrug* What can I say? I like most of the main characters. I'll probably watch it until it dies.)

Murdoch Mysteries CBC(Canada) - October 6 8PM
(I'll be getting them off iTunes, since I'm likely to miss all the airings live, I don't trust my ancient VCR, and iTunes purchases are tracked and included in viewing figures. This show is my comforting cup of Monday mental cocoa.)

Supernatural CW - October 7th 9pm and Pre-premiere retrospective - October 6 9PM
(Will be saving the episodes for much later since with one thing and another I still haven't gotten the chance to watch Season 9 yet /o\. Although I know so much about season 9 just through accidental spoiling and general online osmosis that I almost don't need to watch it now. Aaaaaaarg.)

Flash [NEW] CW - October 7 8PM
(Because Wombat told me I had to. ;-P)

Constantine [NEW] NBC - October 24th 10PM
(It's Constantine. I've only seen the movie and haven't read the comics, but it's the kind of universe I am intrigued by.)

Elementary CBS - October 30 10PM
(Because I have to see what the hell they're going to do to poor Arthur Conan Doyle next. Also, JLM's Sherlock has started growing on me a little during last season.)

British Shows:

Doctor Who Series 8 Already airing in the UK on Saturdays. (Because it's Doctor Who. I'm watching it in chunks though, so I am more than likely not going to be current and up to date on it at any given time.)

AND

CABIN PRESSURE TWO PART SERIES FINALE Airing on Radio BBC4's international iPlayer on December 23 and 24, 2014.
(I am absolutely not prepared for this radio show to end, and I doubt I'll get any of the fic I've started theorizing the finale done or posted before it airs, arg.)

Most of these I won't be doing reaction posts of any sort for, and I suspect a lot of the New shows will fade off the list over time or even after the first few episodes since I actually don't have a lot of time on weeknights for watching TV.

I agree with most of your list. Though adding Sleepy Hollow(so much fun, and bonus JOHN NOBLE!!!) and Gotham (worth a shot). I am so looking forward to Constantine. I love that wise ass.

Plus, from the finale... bonus BADASS John Noble! Whoo!

This is my reminder to record "Forever!" Ioan Gruffudd is the big draw there for me.

I have "How to Get Away With Murder" on my list too, because I discovered that it starred Viola Davis. She is an incredible actress, and I'll be tuning in just for her. Also, the rare times she does dark characters? *shudder* Scary-good.

Elementary has kind of grown on me. I love Joan, and I have a crush on Rhys Ifans as Mycroft, so I'm kind of sold for now. ;)

Viola Davis is a character actress, who has been in a lot of TV dramas, but also in "The Help" and "Doubt" (haven't seen either) and in "Solaris." Really good actress. :D
