OH HELL YES.

So. Very. Yes. All the yes. Possibly my new favourite movie of the MCU. I have read some Doctor Strange comics in the past and know a little bit about the characters from playing the late lamented Avengers Alliance iPhone game. This movie. Yes.

Seriously, I'm finding it hard to calm down enough to type. I've been ricocheting around my apartment with glee. SO awesome. If you see it and can handle 3D, go to the 3D version. Benedict Cumberbatch's American accent stopped being weird for me a short way in (he sounded a bit like House at times) and it's like AAAAAAAAAAA!!!! He can be Doctor Strange for as long as RDJ has been Iron Man please. I'll wait a few extra years for more Sherlock if he can do more Doctor Strange, like, right now.

So, yeah. I liked it. A LOT.

Allow me to introduce you to the latest video to make me buy a song off iTunes. Covers most of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, (including some quick and spoilery bits from Captain America: Civil War and from the Doctor Strange promo material, so tread lightly spoilerphobes). I consider it to be made of badass and particularly enjoy the linking of lyrics with action.

I don't know if anyone's going to read this, but here, have a reaction post anyway.

Pretty much spoiler-free, but putting it under a cut anyway to protect extreme spoilerphobes. Also comparative references to Batman vs Superman )

Just noticed, Jenna Louise Coleman was in the first Captain America movie as Bucky's date for the scenes at the science expo at the start.

So, that's New York City, around, what? Ten years after Rory and Amy get stuck in 1930's Manhattan, where the Doctor can't get to anymore?

The crossovers practically write themselves.

Also, Lady Me could definitely get to 1930's Manhattan, and she's said she'd be checking on the people the Doctor leaves behind so...

Just saying. >.>

Right, since the season's pass for Murdoch Mysteries Season 8 is now available on iTunes and at least one show I'm watching/saving for later premieres this upcoming week, I'd better put up my 2014 premiere listing for shows I intend to watch in one way or another. under cut )

Leaving this dream public for now, since because of extreme crack and some actual plot and stuff it may as well be fanfic. Also, this is the first in-depth dream I've had featuring the Avengers, so what the hell.

In which fake-Hawkeye nearly takes over the world because I am a bad cat-sitter and Tony Stark won't accept my calls. )
