caffienekitty: Dean sitting slumped in a chair. "Will kill for coffee" (not my day)
Charles Malik Whitfield had a significant guest appearance on the winter finale of Scorpion (new popcorn series this year about super-genius troubleshooters) last Monday, and I had to combine a screencap with a Henriksen quote from Jus in Bello.

Under the cut. No spoilers for Scorpion winter finale. )

caffienekitty: (avengersverse - loki contemplate)
Leaving this dream public for now, since because of extreme crack and some actual plot and stuff it may as well be fanfic. Also, this is the first in-depth dream I've had featuring the Avengers, so what the hell.

In which fake-Hawkeye nearly takes over the world because I am a bad cat-sitter and Tony Stark won't accept my calls. )

Yellow Car in Lots of Languages
(a compiled reference for the Cabin Pressure fandom)

Just in case someone else hasn't already done this, here's a list of what "Yellow Car!" is in every nearly language Google Translate offers (not included are the few my own computer doesn't have a charset for.) I was looking up a bunch for a story, so I figured why not look them all up and post them.

The placement or existence of exclamation points may be wrong in a few languages, and I have no clue how to pronounce many of these. If anyone who speaks or knows these languages has a correction or addition, post it in the comments. I did try to look it up in Klingon, Vulcan, Romulan, and Tolkien Elvish, but no luck.

List under cut, anything that shows up as boxes is a character set your computer doesn't have enabled. )

Title: Sherlock, the RPG
Fandom: Sherlock
Rating: Gen, PG13
Warning: AU? Non-British dialog with occasional gesture direction, profanity, and excessive use of the word "dude". CRACK.
Word Count: 800-ish
Disclaimer: I DISCLAIM ALL THE THINGS.
A/N: Found this on a rummage through my Google Docs and thought what the hell. Humour, but will make more sense if you have rolled polyhedral dice at some point in your life. Role-playing system used in here is SJG's Gurps, but I don't think you need to know anything about it. I may chicken out and delete or lock this. It's a bit weird. [LJ-only]

Summary: A climactic scene from "A Study in Pink" as part of a tabletop role-playing game held in Steve's North American basement.

Since the Rich Text editor on Livejournal goes insane frequently and messes things up and drives everyone nuts, here are some basic HTML codes for use when posting on Livejournal in the HTML Editor.

Some basic HTML tags and advice under the cut. )

And now for something completely different.

Title: "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life" Macros.
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Rating/Warnings: Macros, screencaps from all of Series One. Lyrics contain some bad language. PG.
Disclaimer: None of this is originally mine, and apologies to Monty Python.
A/N: I had this idea for a vid, see, but have had no luck vidding, so I macro'd instead.

Title: Supernatural Episode Mash-ups
Warnings/Rating: GEN, PG. Spoilers to the end of Season 4. (Post itself is Safe for Australia, but comments might not be). Not exactly fic. AU??? o.O Definitely crack. Possible splorf warning.
Word Count: not many
Disclaimer: Only the insanity is mine.
A/N: Okay, this is pure crack. I was randomly pondering Supernatural episodes at work (as one does) and mis-thought an episode title, mixing two titles up. I giggled, corrected myself, and had a side ponder of what the resulting mixed-up episode would be like. And what other titles could be mixed up and what those episodes would be like. Aaaaaand there went the afternoon. *facepalm* Some summaries are related to the actual episodes, some are totally random. [LJ-Only]

Eight Mash-up summaries under cut )
