Something I noticed in 3.12

So here the boys are, talking to the freshly exorcised and Tidy-Bowl fresh Henricksen...

*grin* SAM'S TATTOO IS SHOWING!! :-D A full, what, five or ten minutes before the tattoos are actually revealed?

I mean it's not that huge of a deal, since the reveal of them is in this episode and Jensen and Jared probably got temp tattoos that would last for the week of shooting or whatever, but still I say a massive "YAY!!!" for costume/make-up continuity!! \o/

I'm in a state of much-needed glee now, and a bit surprised because I don't usually spend this much time staring at Sam's chest.

I know! It the causal stuff where it's not a deliberate shot, it's just a random accidental glimpse that adds that extra layer of realism. It's so damned awesome!

It's too bad frequently repeated temp tatts would probably be horrible for their skin, or I'd vote for keeping the tattoos on at all times during shooting, specifically for little accidental glimpses like this.

Oh, heck if it wouldn't affect their future careers, them getting permanent versions after the end of the series would cause the most massive squeesplosion ever. Like the LOTR crew and the One Ring tattoos.

Just thinking about that possibility... Heck, for the last three years or so, the boys have been together more than with anyone else, really. They're bound to get some sort of a souvenir out of Supernatural! :D

Well, I did hear somewhere that Jensen has it written in his contract that he gets the Impala after the show ends, the really good one with the huge engine. No idea how true that is, but I really hope it's true :-D

No idea what the equivalent would be for Jared. Though from what I've heard of Jared being goofy, maybe a clause that says he gets to keep the psychic powers wouldn't be too far off the map for him. ;-)

What I really, truly hope is that they stay good friends after the end of the show. And maybe work on another project together once in a while. :-)

I wish those boys will stay friends, too. Even if the fandom's tinhattery is a complete and utter fantasy...

I try to ignore the tinhattery altogether; it makes me itch. ;-P

But that's just it! I want to see them together in something different with very different characters and a different dynamic, just to see how different from Sam'n'Dean they can be and let them show what they can do with it. :-)
