Okay. I need to know.

When is 'next Thursday'?

I know, I know, 'Not soon enough' et cetera, but I mean, is 'Next' Thursday considered to be the next day named Thursday or the one the week after the next day named Thursday?

So looking at it from today being the 22nd of September...

'Next Thursday' is definitely not 'This Thursday', but 'The Next Thursday' is :D

See, to me, 'next' [FITDay of the week] is the next day named that, so Sep 25th to me is 'next Thursday' (and also 'this Thursday' which gets even more confusing). October 2nd is 'a week from Thursday'. This is probably why I'm always late going to places, because my sense of time is out of step with the world at large.

So, long story short, if you want me to be somewhere on a given day, specify the date. :-D
