I've signed up for mini_wrimo again this year (and I see some of you already have as well!) It runs during the month of November like NaNoWriMo, but rather than committing to write at least 50,000 words in a month, MiniWriMo has less intense daily goals with a minimum of 100 words. Further info here. Challenge and sign up posts are locked, so you need to join the comm to sign up and participate. It's a good challenge for any sort of writer, fandom or otherwise and I recommend it to all.
